What BiomeTears® Restore is
Postbiotic eye drops designed to support and stabilise the ocular surface. BiomeTears® Restore is a preservative-free medical device developed to protect the tear film and support the eye’s natural defence mechanisms. It is particularly useful when the ocular surface is irritated, inflamed, or out of balance due to dryness, environmental stress, infection, or surgery.
Indications for use
BiomeTears® Restore is indicated for relief of symptoms associated with tear film alteration, including: Dry, irritated or red eyes - Watery or sore eyes caused by external agents - Ocular surface imbalance following infections such as conjunctivitis or blepharitis - Supportive care during or after eye surgery
How it works
BiomeTears® Restore helps stabilise the tear film by supporting reconstruction of the ocular surface and reinforcing the eye’s natural protective barrier. Its postbiotic components promote conditions that favour a balanced inflammatory response and support the natural microbial equilibrium of the ocular surface, helping protect against environmental irritants and microbial stressors.
Ingredients
Phospholipid mixture from bacterial lysate of Lactobacillus sakei (4%) - Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (Hypromellose) - Boric acid - Sodium chloride - Purified water
Directions for use
Instil 1–2 drops into each eye - Use 3–4 times daily, or as advised by a healthcare professional
Important warnings
Wash hands before use - Do not use if allergic to any ingredient - Do not use while wearing contact lenses - Avoid contact between bottle tip and eye - Discard 28 days after opening - Do not use if packaging is damaged - In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional - Do not swallow - Keep out of reach of children
